Residential Survey

A Residential Survey is often required prior to construction in order to obtain construction permits (right to build) from your AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction), which is typically your City or County. 

 

This services provides  drawings for either Arch, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing), or both.

Estimated Cost

The estimated cost for a Residential Survey is determined by the following formula:​

Project Square Footage + Hourly Rate

​

Project Example

A typical home is 2,000 square feet.​
The Travel Time to site is 1 hour.
The Survey takes 2 hours to perform
The Travel Time back is 1 hour. 

2,000 sq ft + 4 hrs ($100) = $2,400

Residential - Design Documents (Estimation)

A Design Document is the first step in creating Construction Documents for your project. Use this for Construction Estimation and Loan Approval.

Meet with a Virtual Design Consultant, who will craft a Building Program that outlines the needs of your new home. Then book an appointment to Design and Draft your new home!

Estimated Cost

The estimated cost for developing Residential Design Documents is based on the following formula:

Project Square Footage ($1 per square foot)+
Additional Design Meetings ($200 per session) +
Hourly Rate ($100 per hour)

Project Example

The custom home is 2,000 square feet.
The client requests 2 Design Meetings ($200 ea)
The client requests 1 Change Order. ($100 per item)

2,000 sq ft + 2 ($200) + 1 ($100) = $2,500
